The Project

Working closely alongside 4C Group, Regal are redeveloping 33-35 Jamestown Road and 211 Arlington Road.

Consented in June 2025, the development will comprise 178 student bedrooms and 27 affordable homes, alongside c.3,500sqft flexible commercial space and generous green infrastructure. The project is part of ‘Regal Students’, the business’s Purpose-Built Student Accommodation development division.

The new student accommodation will be supported by a wide range of social, study and wellbeing spaces, centred around a peaceful, woodland-inspired courtyard. The affordable homes are designed to be dual or triple aspect, with private balconies or terraces and access to a shared biodiverse garden. A mix of social rent and intermediate tenures is included, with three family-sized maisonettes, helping meet Camden’s pressing need for high-quality, genuinely affordable homes.

In keeping with Regal’s wider sustainability strategy, the project will target BREEAM Outstanding and aims to be one of the first UK PBSA projects to be accredited WELL Platinum.

Designed by Morris+Company, the six-storey development integrating seamlessly with its surroundings while introducing active frontages that bring new life to the area. The scheme responds to the site’s varied urban context, from the finer residential grain of Arlington Road to the industrial scale of the nearby canal, which will be reflected in the buildings’ façades.
