Hard demolition up to ground floor level has now been completed, with enabling works ongoing, including cut-out slots for piles in the existing basement slab and low-level pile mat works.
Piling works are expected to commence from 10 February 2026 and last approximately 7–9 weeks. Site hoarding is due to start this week.
Monitoring for dust, noise, vibration and ground movement remains in place to ensure works stay within agreed limits. These works will continue throughout February.
The next Construction Working Group meeting is expected to take place in the third week of March 2026.
