The latest Construction Working Group meeting provided an update on recent progress at Jamestown Road, with the low and high level capping beams now complete, the new sewer connection finished and basement excavation nearing completion. Basement raft slab works have also begun, and new welfare cabins have been installed on site.
Upcoming works will include the erection of Tower Crane 2, progressing the basement raft slab, starting basement liner walls, completing the affordable housing building foundations and commencing ground floor slab works.
Dust, noise and vibration monitoring continue throughout the construction process, with no air quality breaches recorded over the past month. Monitoring remains in place on site, and reports are reviewed regularly.
