Enabling works and demolition are progressing following recent site preparations. Utilities disconnections and temporary propping to the existing basement have been completed, with hard demolition now ongoing across the site.
Scaffold erection is in place along Jamestown Road and Arlington Road, and site hoarding is scheduled to commence towards the end of January.
Monitoring for dust, noise, vibration and ground movement remains in place to ensure works stay within agreed limits. These works will continue into February.
The next Construction Working Group meeting is expected to take place in the second week of February 2026.
